• High energy “Non-Thermal Plasma” (NTP) technology combined with integral catalyst oxidizes and/or reduces Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s), organic (odorous) or otherwise in air streams ranging from 50 cfm to over 1,000,000 cfm.
• Some VOC’s which are considered odorous are typically complex organic carbon – hydrogen - and possibly sulfur molecules, are oxidized and reduced to CO2 H2O and SO2 by gaseous electro-chemical reactions.
• Compounds are transformed to harmless state, not “masked”. Washing can be applied in post stages to remove condensible compounds in the case of concentrated H2S applications. Not needed for organic, animal product or animal waste odors, however.
• Is able to neutralize VOC’s that chemical scrubbing has no effect on, as all ionic and covalent molecular bonding is disrupted for full gaseous Oxidation and Reduction reactions due to the high energy density in the NTP field and presence of active catalysts.
• Can be combined with other technologies, such as particulate removal, spray tower systems or other polishing type treatment prior to environmental release.
• Lowest installed, maintenance and operations cost of any VOC or odor reduction technology when compared to thermal oxidizers, RTO's, bio-filtration, wet scrubbers or packed bed absorption systems of various types.
• Compact installation size and modular design (customization also possible for tight spaces). Can be fit into almost any existing process building without the need for significant space requirements and added to for future expansion.
• PLC controlled plasma level is instant on and adjustable to match varying odor loads, full automation permits any level of factory equipment interlocking and automated emissions monitoring and control.
• Unique, fully ceramic and metal plasma generation cells, (patent pending) are designed and built for long life and require no regeneration. There are no wearing, consumed or plastic parts.
• Only consumable is electricity and fresh air inlet filters. No chemicals, water, wood, packing. No waste products to dispose of.
